The sweet fifth installment of Blake%E2%80%99s (Holly Lane) Destiny contemporary series offers the captivating story of bookstore owner Amy Bright. The matchmaker of tiny Destiny, Ohio, Amy has come up empty in her own search for love. She believes her friends%E2%80%99 happy endings will never happen for her%E2%80%94until a longtime friend, firefighter Logan Whitaker, kisses her in a drunken moment. As Amy realizes she is in love with her best friend, a complication arrives: Anna Romo, who disappeared from town at age five. Logan asks Amy to set him up with the %E2%80%9Carrestingly beautiful%E2%80%9D Anna, and Amy feels certain she can%E2%80%99t compete. Her friends provide a makeover and help devise secret notes to Logan, changing things dramatically. Suggestive love scenes befit the Austen theme and, though this is no easy road to happily-ever-after, it%E2%80%99s impossible not to empathize with and cheer for Amy in this charming tale.
