Death of a Renaissance Man

Nikki Andrews is waiting for painter-author Joe Savannah to come back to bed when she hears his body drop from the roof to the street. The police say it was suicide, but Nikki knew Joe better. She also knows he was naked when he opened his penthouse door and she's convinced he was familiar with his murderer. That narrows her list of suspects to his current wife, two former ones and assorted other girl friends, all well-acquainted with each other. Fiercely loyal to her explicit memories of Joe, Nikki decides to flush the killer by stirring up this community of women, each of whom is eager to be the one Joe loved best. Nikki's feisty and brave, a firebrand given to talking in capital letters and exclamation marks. She may be a bit exhausting but she's bright, endearing and fun to spend an evening with. (March 31)
