It Zwibble, the Star-Touched Dinosaur

This book introducing a licensed character named It Zwibble has its share of contrivances, but the illustrationswith smiling dinosaur babies, a friendly moose, a toucan in a loud shirt and scenery in childlike pastelswill convince readers to forgive all. It Zwibble is a dinosaur fairy who must save a cluster of dinosaur eggs, if he can find them. Luckily, one of his kind-hearted acts leads to the discovery of the eggs. The babies inside are saved. Because the babies are all ""star-touched'' like him, they'll be ready to help the people of Earth as soon as they get a little older. Though the story is sugar-coated, it beats most Saturday-morning fare. (4-8)
