Conquest of Morocco

Historian Porch tells the story of France's subjugation of Morocco at the turn of the century, which was to be France's last major colonial acquisition. Drawing on memoirs and other writings, Porch tells how internal challenges to the unstable rule of Sultan Abd ed-Aziz opened the door to the French.
