Double Vision

At the age of two, Tamara began to answer her mother's thoughts; in third grade she started to have dreams that came true. The interest aroused by these apparent psychic abilities led her mother, Judith, first to the American Society for Psychical Research, then to contacts with Uri Geller and a host of psychic mediums, and finally to establish the Foundation for Inner Peace. For her part, Tamara has worked with blind children, trying to teach them to discern color by touch, and cares for terminally ill youngsters. The two women's voices alternate here, with the mother exhibiting awed respect while the psychic daughter makes down-to-earth comments like, ""At Mom's dinner table we discuss the top ten miracles of the day, the latest update from Holy Spirit, and who is going to give in and answer the telephone's incessant ringing.''
