The charming little gift book was compiled by Eric Marshall, who also did Children's Letters to God 30 years ago. Children's Letters has sold two million copies and is still going strong; this new collection follows the same format (small, square design, with each page containing a facsimile of a child's reflections in the child's own handwriting). Some of these nuggets of wisdom are poignant, and others hilarious; one child muses that ""hell is a bad place, worse than camp,"" while another notes that heaven is pretty selective: ""you can't get there unless you're dead, and even then it's hard to get in.""
