Michaels (Win Me Over) reunites a couple of college sweethearts in the small Midwestern town of Preston, Mo. Lindsey Morales contributes to the buzzy My Perfect Little Life blog, writing pieces on repurposing and crafting. Lately, the blog's been chronicling the renovation of a historic farm house belonging to her friends Anne and Mike (familiar to readers of Start Me Up). This project forces her to work with architect Derek Walsh, who abruptly broke up with her in college eight years before. Derek allowed familial pressures to separate them, but being around Lindsay reminds him of the chemistry and connection they shared, and he vows to earn her forgiveness. Though this couple has more heartache than Michaels's other love matches, the author doesn't sacrifice her trademark sass, humor, or warmth in this story of rebuilding trust and love.
