Griffin and Michaels (Chasing Matt) team up again for a succulent romance with great characters and a disastrous ending. Jamie Lassiter and Ethan Martin are students at a Seattle culinary school. Jamie is the heir to the Lassiter fortune, destined for a corporate office and a straight, dull, life of wealth. Ethan is pierced, tattooed, and struggling to cover his tuition and take care of his little sister. Though they’re both competing for an award they need to achieve their dreams, Jamie tutors Ethan to help him past his pastry-making problems, and the attraction and romance between them stews. When Jamie’s parents discover he’s hanging around with the wrong crowd—too poor and too queer for their tastes—they tell him to leave school and begin his career with their company or go it alone, without the Lassiter fortune to back him.
