Ego to St. Martin's Press

Jennifer Weis at St. Martin’s has acquired North American rights to the anonymously authored novel Ego that precipitated a guessing game at the London Book Fair a few weeks back. Deborah Schneider at Gelfman Schneider made the deal, for one book only, on behalf of Ali Gunn in the UK, who is reportedly closing a deal there this week. The novel, penned by an established American male writer and a London-based agent, will be completed by late summer; tentative SMP pub date is summer 2008.
