Among the books hitting shelves next week are a trio of noteworthy YA titles: an awaited follow-up to a popular series, a stand-alone that deals with the heavy topics of life and love, and the start to a new series promising romance and motorcycle gang intrigue.

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han. Simon & Schuster, $17.99; ISBN 978-1-4424-2673-3. Following up To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, protagonist Lara Jean still has some letters to write as she finds herself embroiled in a love triangle.

Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider. HarperCollins/Tegen, $17.99; ISBN 978-0-06-221716-5. The second novel from the author of The Beginning of Everything (who has also studied medicine) is set in a not-too-distant future where two terminally ill teens fall in love as tuberculosis sweeps the U.S.

Nowhere but Here by Katie McGarry. Harlequin Teen, $17.99; ISBN 978-0-373-21142-5. This title launches the Thunder Road series, in which 17-year-old Emily spends the summer with her father – a high-ranking official in a motorcycle gang – and falls in love with a boy who hopes to join.
