All the Major Constellations by Pratima Cranse. Viking, $17.99; ISBN 978-0-670-01645-7. A life-changing tragedy just before high school graduation leaves Andrew without the support of his two best friends as he faces a lonely summer navigating his alcoholic family’s dysfunction. This YA novel earned a starred review from PW.

Triple Moon: Summer on East End by Melissa de la Cruz. Putnam, $17.99; ISBN 978-0-399-17355-4. The bestselling author returns to East End with this latest YA novel, following twin witches Mardi and Molly as they’re sent to live with their aunt in North Hampton, where they must learn to master their magic.

This Bridge Will Not Be Gray by Dave Eggers, illus. by Tucker Nichols. McSweeney’s, $19.95; ISBN 978-1-940450-47-6. Bestselling author and McSweeney’s mastermind Eggers teams up with debut illustrator Nichols to answer a fairly simple question: Why is the Golden Gate Bridge orange? The answer, in picture book form, netted a starred review from PW.

Da Vinci’s Tiger by L.M. Elliott. HarperCollins/Tegen, $17.99; ISBN 978-0-06-074424-3. In this YA novel inspired by a Da Vinci painting, a well-educated and intelligent young woman seeks intellectual and romantic fulfillment in the aristocratic circles of Renaissance Florence. The book earned a starred review from PW.

Dangerous Lies by Becca Fitzpatrick (Simon & Schuster, $17.99; ISBN 978-1-4814-2491-2. In this YA novel from the author of Hush, Hush, 17-year-old Stella walks in on a murder and is relocated under the witness protection program, where she starts to enjoy her new life just as her old one catches up to her.

The Trilogy of Two by Juman Malouf. Putnam, $17.99; ISBN 978-0-399-17114-7. Malouf, a visual artist who has designed elements in Wes Anderson’s films, including the middle-grade books prized by the protagonist of Moonrise Kingdom, tries her hand at her own middle-grade novel, featuring 12-year-old twins Sonja and Charlotte, raised in the circus, who discover they have magical powers.

Soundless by Richelle Mead. Razorbill, $19.99; ISBN 978-1-59514-763-9. The author of the bestselling Vampire Academy series tells the story of a village in which everyone is born deaf, and works in mines to secure their survival. But as they start to lose their sight, too, protagonist teen Fei gains the sense of hearing and fights to save the community.

The Lunar Chronicles: Winter by Marissa Meyer. Feiwel and Friends, $18.99; ISBN 978-0-312-64298-3. At twice the length of Cinder, the first novel in the series, Meyer’s 800-page conclusion to her Lunar Chronicles is big in both size and scope, shifting among every major character from the series and some new ones.

Autumn’s Kiss by Bella Thorne. Simon Pulse, $18.99; ISBN 978-0-385-74435-5. The second novel in teen Bella Thorne’s Autumn Falls series follows Autumn as she attempts to decode the rules of high school flirting without the help of her wish-granting diary.
