Jessica Shoffel will join Little, Brown Books for Young Readers as director of publicity on June 8. She was most recently associate director of publicity in the Penguin Young Readers Group.

Morgan Dubin is joining Macmillan Children's Publishing Group as publicist; most recently she was a publicist and marketing associate at Abrams Books for Young Readers.

Rachel Chlebowski has joined Random House/ Golden Books for Young Readers as editorial assistant; previously she was an editorial assistant at Macmillan.

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing has two promotions. Laura DiSiena has been promoted to associate art director for Aladdin Books; she was previously senior designer. Regina Flath has been promoted to senior designer for Simon Pulse; she was previously designer.

Emily Ritter has been promoted to assistant marketing manager for children's trade at Bloomsbury Children's Books; she was previously marketing coordinator. Claire Stetzer has joined the company as editorial assistant.

Larry Dorfman has been named book trade sales manager at Capstone. He has worked at Globe Pequot Press, Abrams, Simon & Schuster, Penguin, and Avon Books; at Capstone, he replaces Paul Von Drasek, who retired in February.

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing has several promotions and a new hire. Elizabeth Blake-Linn has been promoted to senior production manager for Atheneum, Caitlyn Dlouhy Books, McElderry Books, and Saga Press. She was previously production manager. Carolyn Swerdloff is being promoted to associate marketing director, from assistant marketing director. Teresa Ronquillo is being promoted to assistant marketing manager for Aladdin Books, Simon Pulse, Simon Spotlight and Little Simon, from marketing coordinator. Karin Paprocki has been promoted to executive art director of Aladdin, from art director. Jessica Handelman has been promoted to art director for Pulse and Aladdin, from associate art director. Natascha Morris has joined Atheneum as editorial assistant. She comes from Thieme Medical Publishers, where she was both editorial assistant and executive assistant to the president. Previously, Morris was an intern at Publishers Weekly, Sourcebooks, and S&S.

Katie Halata has been promoted to associate director, school and library marketing at Macmillan Children's Publishing Group. Previously she was school and library marketing manager.

Random House Children's Books has two promotions and two new hires. In licensed and proprietary brands marketing, Lauren Adams has been promoted to marketing associate, from marketing coordinator; Emily Ollis has been promoted to marketing coordinator, from marketing assistant; and Colleen Nuccio has joined the company as marketing assistant. Nick Elliot joins the company as assistant marketing manager in the trade marketing department; he was previously assistant marketing manager at Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing.

Tricia Lawrence has been promoted to agent at the Erin Murphy Literary Agency; she was previously associate agent.

Candlewick has one new hire and a promotion. Andie Krawczyk has been promoted to manager of library marketing and outreach; she was previously assistant manager of library marketing. Zoe Luderitz has joined the company as senior marketing manager. Previously she worked at Alibris as content manager, and at Little, Brown as manager, school and library marketing and social media.

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing has one new hire and one promotion. Ksenia Winnicki has been named publicist; previously she was publicist at Macmillan Children's Publishing Group. Christine Dong has been promoted to senior demand planner of the children's demand planning team; she was previously demand planner.

Ariel Richardson has been promoted to associate editor in the children's group at Chronicle Books; she was formerly assistant editor.
