Sara Sargent will return to HarperCollins Children's Books on July 13, in the new position of executive editor. She will acquire YA, middle grade and picture book fiction and nonfiction titles "created from or around digital and social media content." Most recently she was an editor at Simon & Schuster.

The Macmillan Children's Publishing Group has two new hires. Brielle Benton has joined as associate marketing manager; previously she was marketing and publicity associate at Diversion Books. Tiara Kittrell has joined as marketing assistant; previously she was editorial assistant at the Pennsylvania Gazette and an intern at Macmillan.

Jackee Alston, social media coordinator at Erin Murphy Literary Agency, is leaving the company at the end of June. Tara Gonzalez, assistant to Erin Murphy, will take on the additional role of social media coordinator.

Margaret Coffee has joined Sourcebooks as national account manager, schools and libraries. She was formerly sales and marketing director at Egmont USA.

Razorbill has two promotions and two new hires. Liz Tingue has been promoted to editor, from associate editor. Authors she has worked with include Romina Russell, Morgan Rhodes, Willa Strayhorn, Meredith Moore, and Sophia Rossi. Marissa Grossman has been promoted to assistant editor, from editorial assistant; two of her books, Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here by Anna Breslaw and Dragons vs. Drones by Wesley King, will publish in spring 2016. Tiffany Liao has been named associate editor; previously she was editorial assistant at HarperCollins, and before that worked in publicity and marketing for Penguin's Portfolio imprint. Jessica Harriton has joined the company as editorial assistant; previously she was an editorial assistant at Disney-Hyperion, and before that was an intern at Paper Lantern Lit.

At Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, Andrea Spooner, formerly v-p and editorial director of the James Patterson young readers publishing program, will assume the role of v-p and editorial director of picture books. Farrin Jacobs, currently editorial director of Poppy, will now be editorial director of Poppy and nonfiction.

Hannah Moushabeck will join Chronicle Books as associate marketing manager for children's books on July 20. Previously she was children's book buyer and event planner at Odyssey Bookshop in South Hadley, Mass., and served as co-chair of the New England Children's Booksellers Advisory Council.

John Cusick will join Folio Jr. / Folio Literary Management on July 1; most recently he was an agent with Greenhouse Literary. At Folio he will focus on picture books, middle-grade, and young adult.

Jennifer Bonnell has resigned her position of executive editor at Puffin Books after 16 years with the company. She is pursuing opportunities in freelance editorial consulting, focusing on children's and YA, and can be reached here.

Becca Dunn has joined Little, Brown Books for Young Readers as assistant designer; she was formerly design assistant at Random House Children's Books.

Jeremy Ross will join Macmillan Children's Publishing Group on June 8 as associate digital marketing manager. Previously he was manager of social media and marketing at Roads to Success, an educational nonprofit group.
