9/4: Brian Michael Bendis Signing in Portland, OR

To mark the release of X-Men: Battle of the Atom #1, award-winning writer Brian Michael Bendis (All New X-Men) will be signing copies of the issue and answering questions from 7-10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4th at Things From Another World in Portland, Oregon. Joining him will be illustrator and Powers co-creator Michael Avon Oeming (The Victories) and artist David Marquez (All New X-Men, Ultimate Comics Spider-Man). 9/5: Neal Adams Appearance and Signing in Frederick, MD

Comics legend Neal Adams will be signing copies of his works, including his latest in Batman: Black & White #1, on Thursday, September 5th from 4-7 p.m. at Beyond Comics in Frederick, Maryland. Adams is one of the most lauded and prolific comic book artists ever, with groundbreaking work on titles including Batman, Green Lantern and X-Men. In addition, he's a staunch defender of creators' rights as well as an accomplished production designer. This event is free to the public, although autographs after the first are $10. 9/6-9/8: Cincy Comicon in Cincinnati, KY

Celebrate comics and the comic book industry at the first ever Cincy Comicon from September 6-8 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Programming includes artist spotlights, creator workshops, sketch duels, cosplay contests and more.
