Cartoonist Brian Ralph (The Cave-In, Daybreak) will be signing copies of his new book Reggie-12 (Drawn & Quarterly) from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10 at Mission: Comics & Art in San Francisco, CA. Originally appearing in the Asian culture magazine Giant Robot, Reggie-12 is a send-up/parody of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy and other classic Japanese cartoons, depicted in Ralph's spot-on throwback style in a handsome 12"x9" format. Lee first rose to prominence in the 1990s with his run on the record-breaking Uncanny X-Men and then shook the comics world with the founding of Image Comics where he worked on creator-owned titles like WildC.A.T.S.. Since then he's been one of the industry's most sought after artists, working on characters like the Fantastic Four, Batman and Superman. In 2010, Lee was named co-publisher of DC Comics, and his recent work has included Justice League and Superman Unchained.
