The morning following Election Day saw, predictably, a rise in patriotic and political books on Amazon. Those titles saw the biggest gains on Kindle, where the top three Movers & Shakers were President Truman by Thomas Fleming, Women Heroes of World War II by Kathryn J. Atwood, and the #3 e-book, The American Patriot's Almanac by William J. Bennett, which has jumped to #3 overall on the Kindle bestseller list from #300,000 in less than 24 hours.
The top Movers & Shakers for physical books, however, were Christmas-oriented books. Three of the top six Movers & Shakers were based around the holiday: The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore, Maisy's Christmas by Lucy Cousins, and The Christmas Giant by Steve Light.
