Harlequin has acquired the50% interest in its German publishing operation, Cora Verlag, held by itspartner Axel Springer. No major changes are expected at the company with editing,translations and printing of the German titles continuing under the existingteam in Germany.According to Harlequin, Cora Verlag sold over 10 million books in Germany lastyear, publishing about 700 titles annually, including a line of nonfiction.Harlequin had worked with Axel Springer since 1976.
