What’s Next for E-Books in Libraries?
On June 16th, 2014, I had the pleasure of moderating a sprawling, two-hour discussion on the future of e-books in libraries at the Random House auditorium in New York City. In addition to a distinguished panel, what made the discussion stand out was our audience. Rather than save the audience perspective for a short Q&A at the end, we involved audience members from the start, empowering them to guide and participate in the discussion. The result was a conversation that went well beyond the usual talk of e-books in libraries.
