Feature: Self-Help/Bullying

Issue: Oct. 20
Deadline: Sept. 22
This feature will look at self-help books and antibullying titles. On the adult side, we are paying special attention to books geared toward baby boomers and aging, as well as to positive psychology titles/books focused on happiness. The children’s component will focus on antibullying titles, both fiction and nonfiction, though we welcome other pitches. We’d also like suggestions about editors, publishers, and others whom we can contact about trends in either adult or children’s titles in this category. Pub dates: October 2014 through March 2015. Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Please email pitches and links to artwork to features@publishersweekly.com by no later than September 22, and put “Call for Info: Self-Help/Bullying” in the subject line.
