Perseus Distribution is seeking an experienced book publishing professional to manage the sales and distribution relationship with client publishers. Ideal candidate understands the book publishing sales process, enjoys working with people, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is highly organized.

Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with a set of client book publishers who use our services for print and ebook sales and distribution. The sales and marketing manager will oversee print and ebook sales for client publishers by helping to develop projections for frontlist titles, track progress of orders vs. projections, provide clients with final projections for print decisions, and provide guidance on print and ebook merchandising opportunities. This person will also work closely with the sales department to maximize opportunities for each title.

The candidate will also facilitate communication between clients and the following in-house departments: digital operations, academic marketing, and warehouse staff. Additional responsibilities include training new clients on systems and processes, managing new client and exiting client transitions, and performing all other duties as assigned.

Education: Must be college graduate (BA)

Experience: Must have 6+ year prior sales, marketing, or distribution experience in book publishing.

Skills: Must be self motivated, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, managerial, organizational, and trouble-shooting skills.
