Description | Independent Publishers Group (IPG) is looking for a full-time Publicity Associate to join a dynamic and successful publicity department representing a variety of publishers of high-quality trade titles. The Publicity Associate will assist the Publicity Department and Publicity Manager in a wide range of administrative tasks, will help to organize and write materials for a variety of major publicity campaigns, and will learn to execute smaller campaigns with guidance from the Publicity Manager. The ideal candidate is an excellent written and verbal communicator with an outgoing personality, is a motivated self-starter, and possesses strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multi-task efficiently. Previous PR or book publishing experience is not required. An interest in sports and a passion for publishing is preferred. |
