We are looking for a high energy individual to take this partnership strategy to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to get to work directly with high-level representatives of many organizations. It is a role of high importance to the company and will be entrusted with executing our most strategic initiatives. Since there are hundreds of partners but only one SPM, it will be an intense position with constant demands.

What you'll do
You will act as Scribd's main point of contact for our content partners. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day management of the relationship with our existing partners, ensuring that they are getting the most out of Scribd. You will also source, qualify, and close new partnerships. Critical to this will be your ability to act as front-line tech support for our key partners, necessitating a deep understanding of the Scribd product and its capabilities.

You will be the "voice" of the partners at product meetings and help us prioritize our roadmap to address their needs. You'll work with our product team to identify new opportunities and get customer feedback on new product initiatives.

Qualifications

* 3-5 years of work experience, preferably Internet Account Management / Marketing / Business Development experience
* Strong interpersonal, account management, and sales skills
* Well-organized, excellent follow through. Able to juggle a large number of tasks without dropping balls
* Fearless attitude towards sales: not afraid to cold call / email companies
* Ability to work independently and proactively, and prioritize ruthlessly
Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Tech savvy; familiar with the web ecosystem; able to understand technical documentation and assist with solving technical problems

Bonus points
* Experience in the publishing industry, particularly with book publishing
* Experience working at internet startups or prominent technology firms
* Technical skills, including basic programming
* Experience negotiating contracts and working with legal counsel
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close strategic partnerships
