Ingram Content Group (ICG) is currently recruiting for an Acquisitions Manager to join Ingram Publisher Services (IPS). This individual will work closely with the Acquisitions Director to develop a strong pipeline of new publisher candidates, review all prospective candidates for fit with IPS, and develop partnership and service recommendations across all ICG products. We are looking for an Acquisitions Manager that can effectively close deals, provide periodic updates to stakeholders, and develops goals for the business. This person must be able to present IPS and ICG services holistically and based on the publishers needs develop the right distribution solutions.

Essential Duties:
•Leads new client acquisitions for small to mid size publishers – under $1,000,000.
•Presents and sells inquiring publishers non-IPS services if appropriate.
•Leads prospective clients through the whole of the acquisitions process from initial inquiry to contract signing.
•Develops and updates acquisitions pipeline as appropriate.
•Identifies new trends in publishing and works to acquire relevant publishers.
•Acts as first line of review for interested clients.
•Understands and supports ICG objectives and acquires clients who meet these objectives.
•Works across multiple departments to develop internal relationships which support IPS acquisitions initiatives.
•Works with Acquisitions Director to determine appropriate distribution and sales fees for individual publishers.
•Works with Integration and Client Management teams to determine timing for go-live and sales cycle integration timing.

Minimum Education and Experience required:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•3+ years in publishing, bookselling, digital or print services, or other relevant experience
•2 years of sales experience

Preferred Experience:
•1-2 years of experience with contract and/or sales negotiations
