Position: This is a full-time position and its main purpose is to oversee all aspects of sales as it relates to doing business with top national accounts and smaller independent accounts. This position should provide the highest level of customer service. This individual will work with the sales, finance, marketing, editorial, production and management team to identify revenue opportunities and grow the overall business.

Responsibilities: Manage all assigned key accounts in regards to new products, incentives and promotions. Present each span to key account contacts and/or trade shows to sell and promote pre pub front list and backlist titles (utilize communication skills to present to key influencers using a variety of techniques). Develop and implement new promotional projects and product development ideas. Travel of 50% is required for this position. Attend training in order to maintain knowledge in relevant field. Explore new initiatives and strategies to increase Navpress sales. Manage inventory, returns, updating of information and some accounting issues relating to your accounts. Prospect for new business; develop and grow accounts.

Provide back-up to the Sales Director in regards to all assigned accounts and territories as requested. Direct involvment in departmental and interdepartmental responsibilities including but not limited to sales and marketing meetings, titling meetings, and cover meetings. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field with at least three years industry experience. Possess the ability to present and negotiate with high level decision makers for all accounts. General Market retail business experience, including inventory management and sales is required. An understanding of the Publishing industry as well as strong oral and writing skills is also required. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Great Plains and willingness to learn new software as needed. Possess the ability to take direction, and follow through; collaborate; make decisions and support consensus decisions; maintain flexibility and adaptability to changes in assignments or work environment. Develop effective relationships and work across multiple teams and departments. Must be a self-motivated, resourceful individual who can work well within a team environment.
