Description
*Manage all aspects of contract initiation and execution process with Legal Dept. for both new and renewing print and digital book Publishing partners.

*Spearhead the forecasting process by requesting, securing, and analyzing quarterly and annual publishing partner forecasts; consult with VP and Finance Dept. to adjust budgets accordingly.

*Provide project management support and sales analysis for ebooks distribution.

*Coordinate all department marketing needs, including routing approvals for more than 30 print and digital licensees; prepare regular Brand updates for partners and retailers; create internal Brand presentations, as needed.

*Manage permissions requests for Sesame Workshop intellectual property use in non-partner publications, such as textbooks and books not targeted at children.

*Represent Publishing Dept. at inter-departmental meetings

*Attend trade shows, licensee meetings, and retailer meetings, as needed.

Pre-requisites:
-Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in publishing
-Thorough understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes

Desired Qualities:
-Licensing experience in publishing or children's media preferred
-Affinity for the Sesame Street brand and preschool audience a plus
-Excellent time-management skills and written and oral communication skills
-Team player
-Detail-oriented and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and priorities at the same time
-Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
