Warner v-p/executive editor Rick Horgan made a six-figure, two-book deal with L.A. agent Jerry Zeitman, based on a 17-page treatment that had an incarnation as a miniseries pitch to Warner's TV department. Now, however, the story is destined for Disney, with that company paying a reported $850,000 for film rights and screenplay adaptation.
