Money Matters
Paul Nathan -- 11/24/97
Like Walker, Bloomberg Press has a new rights director, Priscilla Treadwell. The press itself is relatively new, launched less than two years ago by Bloomberg L.P., a firm offering information and media products in the financial services field. Out of six Bloomberg Personal Bookshelf titles published to date, Treadwell reports the acquisition of five by Money Book Club. Examples: Smart Questions to Ask Your Financial Advisers by Lynn Brenner and Investing in Small-Cap Stocks by Christopher Graja and Elizabeth Ungar, Ph.D.
From the Bloomberg Professional Library, excerpts from two entries have appeared in Financial Planning and Dow Jones Investment Adviser. A first step into the foreign rights market has been taken with the sale of two books to Money Cultural Enterprises in Taiwan.

Bloomberg Press's editorial director, in Princeton, N.J., is Jared Kieling, formerly an editor at St. Martin's.
