Hot Deals: Current With Osnos
Judy Quinn -- 8/10/98
Peter Osnos is keeping his Current Affairs Press current with a raft of signings. Up soon will be a book by actress and former National Endowment for the Arts executive director Jane Alexander on her tribulations as head of the embattled arts foundation. Owen Laster at William Morris was the agent. Former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, whose Vietnam lament, In Retrospect, caused a stir a few years ago, will be back with Argument Without End, "a search for answers to the Vietnam tragedy." House minority leader Richard Gephardt will have a book on economic and social policy, and Osnos is also launching a series on presidential libraries, the first to be on the Kennedy Library, by Charles Kenney.
