Ten American book editors were among the 27 selected as Editorial Fellows for the 1999 Jerusalem International Book Fair. The editors, chosen from a record number of applicants for their promise in book publishing, will make up the eighth class of Editorial Fellows at the biennial book fair, to be held June 20-25.

The American editors selected were Dawn Davis, Vintage Books; John E. Donatich, Basic Books; Elisabeth Kallick Dyssegaard, Farrar, Straus &Giroux; Riva Hocherman, Metropolitan Books; Courtney Hodell, Random House; Tracy Mack, Scholastic; Trace Murphy, Doubleday; Elisabeth Schmitz, Grove Atlantic; Cindy Spiegel, Riverhead Books; and Robert Weil, W.W. Norton.
