Publishers Marketing Association, a group that represents micro-houses, has entered into a partnership with Baker & Taylor's Title Source II Web site, under which the site will post reviews of all PMA titles.

The program will begin with nonfiction reviews and plans are to include fiction in a few months; PMA said it will assign its members' books for review to a total of 150 reviewers. The group did point out, however, that some books will receive a fuller treatment than others.

Currently, Title Source II contains rudimentary information on many of these titles-but few reviews. B&T senior v-p Bob Doran said, "Up to now, the traditional review channels have not done much to expose the independent publishing programs." He noted that the site will also look into licensing these reviews to other online media.
