The book world is already bracing for another whopping Frankfurt, starting late this year, on October 13, but there are other international events to consider.

Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia also host their national book fairs in September, but you can find most of the major players the following month in Frankfurt.

Russia, Syria, Sweden and Spain host their national book events in the weeks before Frankfurt this year, offering travel tie-ins for the Frankfurt-bound. Here are their details:
