Dr. Mae Jemison, the first African-American woman in space, is visiting selected cities in support of her first book, Find Where the Wind Blows: Moments from My Life (Scholastic, Apr.). Last month, the Houston resident traveled to Chicago and New York City to speak about her experiences on a 1992 mission aboard the shuttle Endeavor. Jemison was recently featured in a segment on Oprah highlighting her career change from astronaut to author.
