Another well-known fictional psychologist and detective is debutante #3 on this week's list. Flesh and Blood is Jonathan Kellerman's latest thriller to star the charismatic Alex Delaware. Random House published the book on November 27 with a 330,000-copy first printing; marketing plans include a number of author events in L.A.
New fiction arrival #4 is by the mother-and-daughter team of Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark, whose 2000 bestseller, Deck the Halls, enjoyed a nine-week run on our list. This year's holiday offering, He Sees You While You're Sleeping, is a joint publication of S&S and Scribner, with a 625,000-copy first printing. The two authors are set for a Today appearance this coming Friday.
