Another first novel, Three Junes by Julia Glass, got a sales nudge when Good Morning America chose the Pantheon title as its book club pick. An additional 100,000 copies were printed, bringing the in-print number to 125,000. The book was selected by the Bookies from Milwaukee, Wis., who passed the book club torch to the Jane Does, a reading group of women who work in the criminal justice system in Raleigh, N.C. Pantheon added a nine-city tour for the author, starting in Raleigh on October 3; this is in addition to the 10 cities she visited before the book club selection. Glass will tour with another GMA pick—Ann Packer, author of The Dive from Clausen's Pier (Knopf). That book is #16 on PW's chart this week.
