The other new fiction bestseller this week is The Journals of Eleanor Druse, the inspiration for a new drama series created for TV by Stephen King called Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital . The series premiered March 3 on ABC with a two-hour episode and will air each Wednesday at 10 p.m. through May 26. A 30-minute in-depth special report (read: "mockumentary") about KingdomHospital aired on ABC stations in 205 markets for several weeks before the show's premiere and prominently featured the book. There was also a Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital Weekend Sweepstakes for a trip to Vancouver to visit the set of the series. TV ads during the 13-week series are also planned. With all this attention, it's no surprise that Hyperion has more than 420,000 copies in print of The Journals.
