Simon & Schuster is the second mass market paperback publisher with plans to test a larger, more expensive edition of the format. S&S's Pocket Books division will release a graphic novel based on the CSITV series by Max Allan Collins in February in a 4 1/4"×7 5/8" size. In August, a World Wrestling Entertainment fiction title, Journey into Darkness: The Unauthorized History of Kane, will also be released in the new format. Both will have a $9.95 cover price.

Berkley released its bigger mass market paperback edition of Disordered Minds last week at $10. Several other mass market houses are reported to be looking into similar experiments as a way to inject new life into a stagnant marketplace.
