Hyperion's recent bestseller The Killing Club by Marcie Walsh with Michael Malone is back on the charts again and is up to 150,000 copies in print after four trips to press; first printing was 100,000 copies. The book takes the TV tie-in to a new level, as its storyline has been integrated into a full year of episodes on One Life to Live (Malone is a former head writer of the ABC soap opera). Hyperion folks—president Bob Miller, executive editor Gretchen Young and jacket designer Chip Kidd—have even made guest appearances on the soap, all playing themselves. Ten-second ads promoting the book are running during the show.
