Harcar Now Macmillan Digital V-P

Christina Harcar has been named v-p of digital marketing at Macmillan. Harcar, whose mandate is to grow the company's digital marketing efforts, was most recently v-p, director of subsidiary rights, at Macmillan's St. Martin's Press division.

Bonner to Endeavor

Laura Bonner has joined Endeavor's New York book division as subsidiary rights manager. Bonner arrives from FSG, where she handled licensing of domestic, serial, audio, professional stage and film rights.

Roby to the 'Bookseller'

Nigel Roby has joined the Bookseller as managing director. Roby was publishing director at Centaur Media, where he oversaw publications like The Engineer and New Media Age. In his new role, Roby will also oversee Kirkus Reviews, the Bookseller's sister publication in the U.S.

Rowland Sets Up Service

Laureen Rowland, former publisher and founder of Penguin's Hudson Street Press (she resigned in 2007), has become a full-time freelance nonfiction ghostwriter and editor. Before joining Hudson Street Press in 2003 she was an agent at the David Black Literary Agency and, before that, did editorial stints at HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster.
