Gagliano Up at Perigee

Maria Gagliano has been promoted from associate editor to editor at Penguin imprints Perigee and Prentice Hall Press. Gagliano joined Penguin in 2006 and has worked on such titles as Green, Greener, Greenest, The Idealist.org Handbook for Making a Better World and the forthcoming What’s the Worst that Could Happen?

Cox, Groff and Bauman join WCM

Erin L. Cox, David Groff and Jake Bauman have joined Rob Weisbach’s new agency, Weisbach Creative Management. Cox, who will serve as a publicist, arrives from the New Yorker, where she was book publishing director. Groff, who’s worked as an editor at Crown, will be bringing in nonfiction projects as an agent. Bauman will also be repping book authors as well as screen and TV writers; Bauman was most recently director of development at the Weinstein Company.

MacLean Up at Trident

Stephanie MacLean has been named a literary agent at Trident Media Group. MacLean, who was CEO Dan Strone’s assistant, will bespecializing in romance, women’s fiction and YA.

Kavyani to Dutton

Ava Kavyani has been named a publicist at Penguin’s Dutton imprint. Kavyani was a publicist at the Crown Publishing Group.
