An electronic evangelist describes the turning point that led to her decision to terminate her public ministry empire. Cole-Whittaker, based in La Jolla, Calif., developed a national following with earlier books (How to Have More in a Have-Not World, etc.), in addition to media exposure. In 1985, feeling overwhelmed by organizational structure, she dissolved the organization and embarked on a search for personal enlightenment.
