Coloradoan Flagg is a stay-at-home mom of three daughters who once had very specific plans for her life and career; this kind-hearted though meandering memoir recounts the path she took to find her "strong" and arrive at a destination that suits her. As the middle child in a loving family, Flagg initially imagined she'd become a vet, but that option is swiftly nixed when she learns that some animals get hurt and can't be saved. Her next plan is to become a feminist, high-powered attorney, but though she "nails" the LSATs, her first entry position in a law firm leads to the realization that she'd rather wear flip flops (or pajamas) than suits to work. Her next choice is to become an event planner, a job she loves and which eventually results in her meeting her husband-to-be at a software conference that his company is hosting for clients.
