Monster Hunter Vendetta

Problem: a psycho cultist necromancer and his horde of zombies are trying to bring about the end of the world. Solution: a badass boy lets loose with his badass toys. Owen Zastava Pitt, a member in good standing of Monster Hunter International, has pissed off the Overlord of the Old Ones enough to get his name on a supernatural hit list. Owen tries to ferret out links between MHI and the deranged necromancer on his trail while enlisting various dubious allies, protecting his family, and dodging the Feds.
