In Kyle’s fun second Shifter Rogue romantic thriller (after Wolf’s Mate), a jaguar shape-shifter with a vendetta clashes with a tiger with a more calculated plan. Stella Moore’s family was destroyed by agents of the underground antishifter organization United Humanity. She wants to kill one of the organization’s leaders, but she’s stopped by billionaire Cole Turner, a member of Shifter Operations Command (SHOC), who needs Stella’s target alive for interrogation. Stella reluctantly agrees to cooperate with SHOC, and she and Cole pose as a couple at United Humanity fundraising events to get the access they need. This masquerade isn’t too much of a hardship for Cole and Stella, who are very aware of their mutual attraction. Certainly, their inner beasts are eager to know each other better. With the rest of Cole’s SHOC team offering cute commentary and providing backup for the spy games they play on a tropical island, Stella and Cole’s steamy relationship advances quickly.
