Spa-Action Math Juego

Gr 2-4-Librarians seeking Spanish-language curriculum materials will welcome this series offering a variety of activities to reinforce basic mathematical concepts. The crafts are age appropriate but will require adult supervision and or assistance in most cases. One example is the paper-cutting activity that appears in Figuras (Figures). One page demonstrates a free-form figure cut from a piece of paper folded in half. Another page shows a geometric design cut from a piece of paper folded in fourths, to illustrate symmetry. The attractive layout features full-color photographs depicting each activity. Children are shown in some but not all of the pictures. Recommended for school libraries. MOB
