Circus performer and littler person Little Tom Little is having an existential crisis. Unhappy with his lot in life, he finds a spell that allows him to swap bodies. He chooses to change places with the tall and imposing ringmaster, only to discover he now faces an array of life-threatening problems. As usual with Galaxy Audio, the production values are high, with music, sound effects, and a multicast performance. Headlining the performance are R.F. Daley—who frequently and expertly narrates Hubbard’s stories—and Nancy Cartwright as Little Tom Little. Cartwright’s voice is iconic—she’s best known as the performer behind Bart Simpson. And while she delivers a solid performance here, some listeners may find her voice—or that of Bart Simpson—distracting at times.
