China Strike: An ICE Thriller

A terrible New York City traffic jam kicks off Rees’s high-speed, action-filled sequel to 2016’s The Damascus Threat. Across the world, all the late model Darien cars suddenly malfunction and begin racing out of control. The ensuing crashes are horrific. It soon becomes obvious that the computers on the Dariens have been hacked and the perpetrators are planning a much wider malfunction scheme, which may include every new-model auto on earth. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Dominic Verrazzano and FBI special agent Gina Jahn find the Chinese government is behind the hack and follow a bloody trail of auto company computer experts who have several things in common: they’re all Chinese, they’ve all been murdered, and they’ve all been scalped. The suspense rises as Dom, Gina, and other agents pursue the bad guys around the globe. The open ending suggests that Dom will continue his search for the top evildoer in the next installment.
