Headquartered in Australia, Ocean Press publishes books in English about Latin America from a leftist viewpoint, including popular works by or about Ch\xE9 Guevara and Fidel Castro. Established in 2006 and published three times a year, thier academic periodical aims to provide a place for dialog and discussion regarding leftist political and social movements in Latin America. The editorial board consists of scholars from the region. This latest volume effectively demonstrates the periodical's purpose. Articles by Latin American scholars all evaluate recent political history in Latin America from a leftist perspective, e.g., leftist ideas and candidates in recent elections in Argentina and Guatemala are examined, as are issues such as colonialism, globalization, women, and race. In general, this important periodical may be compared to the established Sage English-language publication, Latin American Perspectives, which focuses on similar issues. Recommended for academic collections dealing with Latin America.- Mark L. Grover, Brigham Young Univ., Provo, UT
