Mia: The Easter Egg Chase

In Mia’s third holiday picture book (following Time to Trick or Treat and The Sweetest Valentine), the young cat can’t wait to hunt for eggs with her cousins on Easter, and especially to find the “one giant chocolate bunny” that the Easter Bunny will hide. But when the hunt is on, Mia—dressed in her ever-present pink tutu—puts aside her chocolaty dreams to help her younger cousin Sophie, who is having trouble keeping up with the bigger cousins as they hunt for eggs. It’s a slight but sweet story; a sheet of Easter-themed stickers is included. Ages 4–8. (Feb.)
