Safe at Last

Bank's high-action third Slow Burn paranormal romantic thriller (after In His Keeping) is a well-blended love story that takes readers on a mission of discovery and redemption. Zack Covington has spent 12 years searching for his first and only love, Anna-Grace. After suffering a gang-rape she believes was instigated by Zack, which resulted in the temporary loss of her mind-reading abilities, Anna-Grace has spent those 12 years trying to get past the brutality and the betrayal. When Zack comes across a painting of a place that's special to him and Anna-Grace, he finally gets the answers he's been searching for, while Anna-Grace has to work up the nerve to face the man she thinks is the mastermind behind her attack. However, their tension-filled reunion is interrupted when Anna-Grace becomes the pawn in Zack's enemies' game of revenge.
