All Chained Up

In Jordon's serviceable and steamy contemporary romance, a nurse and a convicted killer make an unlikely connection thanks to a series of convenient coincidences. Nurse Briar Davis volunteers to accompany her boss, Dr. Walker, on rounds at Devil's Rock Penitentiary. Then, as if fate feels compelled to fulfill Briar's sister's warning about the dangers a single woman might face among felons, prisoners take over the prison's Health Services Unit. She and Walker are in mortal danger. Knox Callaghan%E2%80%94who maintains that he's no murderer, despite the charge that landed him in Devil's Rock%E2%80%94steps in, saves the day, and earns himself an early parole. After Knox's release, he just happens to meet Briar at a store near her apartment and she invites him up to share a carton of ice cream. The rest goes as expected.
